Written for a prompt from ursula4x during the One - Two - Three Word Promptfest held at my journal in mid-July. She wanted to know about the first time that Neal was aroused by Peter. This one was almost too easy. I’ve been writing about their first encounter, on the Rialto Bridge in Venice almost since I’ve started written in this fandom. This incident originally appeared in one of the parts of my only Kink!Meme fill (Public Sex, Part II - In the Dendur Pavilion), played a starring role in Neal’s dirty talk to Peter in Boléro and has been referenced in story after story in the Paladin ‘verse. Although it’s gotten a capstone in Hello, My Heart, I’ve never told the story as it actually happened.
