There are seven, count 'em, seven new White Collar fics for the Remix, plus one White Collar RPF that was a remix of my own fic.

It's awesome - all the fics are!

Go forth, peoples, and read and leave kudos.

It was his own arrogance that got him convicted. He just had to check out Peter Burke as up close and personal as possible. Which means that the agent could put him at that branch of Midtown Mutual at the time the Atlantic Partners bond was cashed in. )

As you all know by now, the Remix archive went live yesterday, and I got a spectacular remix Five Reasons El Wanted Neal To Go Free aka Five Things El Never Said to Peter, of my story The Good and Bad In Everyone (This Is Mine To Remember). The remix plumbs Elizabeth's thoughts about Peter and his needs and motivations, as well as her own in the aftermath of her kidnapping.

The author of this remix (and I'm pretty sure I know who it is) describes Elizabeth's thoughts with stunning clarity and depth and insight. I cannot recommend this story enought. It stands alone - you definitely don't need to read my pallid original - this is so brilliant.

I am honored and delighted to be the recipient of this story. Thank you, remixer!

Got my assignment and I am completely and utterly thrilled.

I know the author, and while she has a limited number of White Collar fics, they are all right up my alley. To say I couldn't be happier is an understatement. (Hence the Puffins icon)

Need to finish the Kid!Fic first, but I can't wait to begin work on the remix.

I am so excited! I've signed up for Remix Redux again. This challenge has a lot of fond memories for me. The eighth edition came around just as I was starting to write for White Collar and I was bummed that I didn't have enough written to qualify for the challenge. However, someone who was a very dear friend at the time allowed me to be their beta and I got a front row seat on how to write a remix.

I signed up for the challenge last year and remixed Livrelibre's Four Things About Diana Barrigan into I Am Not A Damsel in Distress (and I am fighting the good fight) which is still one of my most favorite stories of 2011.

I qualify only for White Collar and I will be writing only White Collar (do I have a one-track mind or what?). You can find the signup on AO3, here.

Some key dates:

Date for signups closing: 12 AM ET March 12
Date assignments will be sent out by: March 14
Date stories are due: 12 AM ET April 16
Date archive opens: April 22
Date author names are revealed: April 29

I encourage everyone to sign up for Remix Redux 10: X Marks the Spot - the more the merrier. Right now, there are 5 writers and 7 requests for White Collar.
