I've Signed Up For Remix Redux 10: X Marks the Spot!

I am so excited! I've signed up for Remix Redux again. This challenge has a lot of fond memories for me. The eighth edition came around just as I was starting to write for White Collar and I was bummed that I didn't have enough written to qualify for the challenge. However, someone who was a very dear friend at the time allowed me to be their beta and I got a front row seat on how to write a remix.

I signed up for the challenge last year and remixed Livrelibre's Four Things About Diana Barrigan into I Am Not A Damsel in Distress (and I am fighting the good fight) which is still one of my most favorite stories of 2011.

I qualify only for White Collar and I will be writing only White Collar (do I have a one-track mind or what?). You can find the signup on AO3, here.

Some key dates:

Date for signups closing: 12 AM ET March 12
Date assignments will be sent out by: March 14
Date stories are due: 12 AM ET April 16
Date archive opens: April 22
Date author names are revealed: April 29

Remixes are a ton of fun. I did one in a more fandom specific challenge and had a blast. I've considered signing up for this one, but the right fandoms aren't open to me because I haven't written enough in them to be eligible. I could only do Smallville and Supernatural, and while I love to write those boys, I've been in the mood for other things lately. Still good luck to you. I hope you get a fun assignment.

Awesome! I love Remix, and I don't qualify for WC but I'm hoping to have the chance to remix a WC story. :)
