Twenty-three years later, to end a long war, Arris Gyreth, now Lord Commander of the Imperium, demands Fleet Admiral Dezko Corrick's hand in marriage. Dez must also explicitly declare that any offspring of the marriage will be subject to the laws of the Imperium.

Dez is very confused, to say the least.
