YES! It's the interplay. Both men are chess players - always a dozen moves ahead.

And both men are sociopathic murderers.

I think their affair would be epic and terrifying.

Imagine if he'd contracting Keller to steal the tachyon emitter in Man in the Yellow Suit. Yes, the bodycount would be just as high, because ... Keller ... but think of the double-cross potentials.

Matthew - just stay out of arm's reach of this man!

OOOOH!!! I just had a thought!! Do you remember how Jeff Eastin said they'd wanted Keller's ending to happen -- that he'd come to Peter and Neal to solve his murder, b/c he'd bee poisoned?? You could make that be Thawne!! Of course, that could mean a lot of danger to Peter and Neal, too, but geez, that'd be a heck of a story!! o.O

But yes, I totally agree with you about even Keller staying away from Thawne -- it'd be beyond epic, but geez, not sure it'd be worth what it would cost (from the characters' POV, I mean). Yow.
