Any Interest in a Promptfest?

I used to do this thing on my journal - I called it a "promptfest" where people would pick a prompt and write a short fill and then leave a prompt for me to fill.
The first few times I did this, there was some pretty awesome reactions. I would do nightly tallies and give prizes for the most fills. I did one last year, and for reasons I can't figure out, people did write, but I could seem to get into the mood to respond back. And then I got kind of sucky with keeping up the tallies. I felt so bad about it, I decided that maybe the time for these 'fests had passed. People seem to be of a mind to do more "prompt me" memes on their own journals (timestamps, themes, etc) these days, rather than write to other people's fests.
However, I've been asked if I'd host another promptfest and I'm thinking that maybe the time is ripe for one.
If I do do it, it'll be a little different from the past ones I've hosted. Previous editions had a master list of prompts - and I'd still do that, but I'd also want to incorporate visual prompts. For the 2014 D.C. Meetup,
kanarek13 created one hundred picture prompt - screen caps with text - and she's allowing me to use them in this 'fest.
I'm not sure how I'd offer up those prompts, but they are a gift for fandom that shouldn't go to waste.
I guess what I'm asking is, who would be interested in playing along? If this is a new concept for you and you want to see what a promptfest is like, check out the "Promptfest" tag on my journal.
In comments, please let me know if you would be interested in participating. (I know I probably shouldn't have to say this, but since I always get a negative response or two, if you don't plan on playing along, you don't have to tell me, 'kay?)

Date: 2015-02-03 05:10 pm (UTC)As for the pic prompts - maybe something along the lines of "pick a number from 1 to 100" ? :D

Date: 2015-02-03 05:15 pm (UTC)The pick a number thing is hard - because the prompts might have pairings/scenes that the player can't write.
I'm thinking about running the fest for a week and putting up 20 prompts a day.

Date: 2015-02-03 11:31 pm (UTC)The goal is to write short ficlets or if you're ambitious, a bunch of ficlets that can become a larger story.
For example, the Rocker El story was a series of ficlets I wrote for a promptfest that were tweaked into a much longer story.
The goal is to write - as much or as little as you want. But just WRITE!

Addendum to my Eight Things That Annoy You: people who feel so strongly about something, they need to comment NO MATTER WHAT.
