Question for My Peeps

elrhiarhodanOkay, flist...I love you very much and your advice has always been invaluable. So I have a question.
Working on a fic, which is actually eight separate pieces connected by a gimmick (for lack of a better word). Each of the sections is substantially more than a ficlet - ranging from 800 to 2000 words. There's no real overarching theme (unlike "Take a Seat, Mr. Caffrey), and except for the gimmick, each piece can stand alone.
Should I publish it as one long fic (probably about 10k words when all done), or eight separate pieces - say one per day?
