A few notes before we begin: I started writing this for whitecollarhc’s Abduct-a-Palooza II: Diamond Exchange Tag ‘fest, but it wasn’t finished in time for that challenge. It’s been a while since I’ve posted a story in a serial fashion - one relatively short chapter a week, and I thought this story would be a good candidate for that.

I know this isn’t the first time I’ve crossed over White Collar and Law & Order: SVU, with similar circumstances (Even the Stars Are Not Safe in Heaven), but the stories – and the roles played by the crossed over characters are very different.
