Dear Pining Author:
Here are a few guidelines about my likes and dislikes and the fandoms I've selected for this challenge.
Let's get the easy stuff out of the way – here are my Do Not Wants for all of the fandoms listed:
DO NOT WANT – Things of a Sexual Nature
Humiliation, Pee/Scat Play, Guro/Gore, Castration, Crucifixion, Discipline Spanking/Punishment, Infantalization, Pedophilia, Pain Play, Medical Torture, Violent Rape, Murder
DO NOT WANT – Things That I Don't Want in the Story
Racism, Anti-Semitism, Homophobia, Transphobia, General Character Bashing, Verbal Humiliation, Disrespect to former partners/love interests
As for what I do want (with one exception, noted below), an unambiguously happily ever after is a must. How you get there is most of the fun. I like adult stories, featuring adults. But that doesn't mean the stories need to be explicit or have any sort of sexual content. I'm perfectly fine with fade-to-black. I do love kissing, though. Just saying, but anything beyond that is up to you, author. If writing detailed sex is your thing, I'll love to hit the bunk with the story. If not, I will love it just as much.
I also love slow burn. If all I get is two gloved hands barely touching, my heart will go pitter-patter. It's kind of why the challenge is made for me.
With these things in mind, let's talk a bit about the fandoms I've chosen for this challenge
Kingsman (Movies)
Relationship(s): Kingsman is my primary fandom right now and I am a multi-shipping mama. I adore the fandom's primary ship – Hartwin (Harry Hart | Galahad / Gary "Eggsy" Unwin), but I am just as heavily invested in Merwin (Merlin/Eggsy) and Merhartwin (Merlin/Harry/Eggsy) and Merlahad (Merlin/Harry Hart | Galahad). What I love about these characters is their competence, their self-assurance, their moments of despair. I love how fandom has fleshed out Percival and James | Lancelot (Percilot), which is Kingsman's equivalent of Phil Coulson/Clint Barton, but not only do these two never appear on screen together, Percival has no dialogue and James is killed shortly after the opening credits.
What I'm not fond of is The Golden Circle. The gratuitous deaths of Roxy and the rest of Kingsman, and then Merlin's pointless death at the end of the movie have made this a no-go for me. And while I refuse to bash Eggsy's relationship with Princess Tilde (and their subsequent marriage), I simply don't like it. TGC and Stateman characters can be used to move the story along, but I don't want a story that focuses on them.
Relationships
I've selected "All Relationships" because any one of these will be loved and appreciated.

Resolution: Feelings eventually requited - because I want the story to have a HEA.
These are just thoughts and suggestions – not intended to be anything more than ideas you can riff on.
Accidental soulbond while pining: There are many different variations of soulbonding, but an accidental bond might be my favorite. I can see A pining for B, the bond is created and B agreeing to the bond because it's the right thing to do. Eventually, B comes to love A just as much as A loves B.
Alternate Universe: I love AUs. Historical, fantastical, canon-adjacent and tossing canon out completely. Just keep in mind my story DNWs and I'm sure I'll love what you write.
Character A bathes Character B while pining: I have written a lot of fics about characters bathing each other and only learned, not that long ago, that bathing is often part of daddy kink. Didn't have a clue about that. To me, it's all about caring. That's what I'm looking for.
Arranged Marriage: 'Nuff said.
Character pines for someone they think is dead, Character pines for someone who is dead, In A Relationship Because They're Both Pining Over the Same Dead Person, Love Confession: One Character Thought The Other Was Dead, A believes B is dead, Character A pines for their dead lover: All of these are so very Kingsman. Harry had been dead, as far as we know, Percival's dead, Roxy's dead, Merlin's dead (until Matthew Vaugh retcons The Golden Circle). So, we can have much pining, until the character turns up alive!
Character A pines while watching Character B sleep: What's on the box
Single Man (2009)
Relationships
George Falconer/Jim (George pining)

Resolution: Feelings eventually requited and Feelings Never Requited. If the first floats your boat, well, George does die, so they are reunited in the afterlife, possibly. Feelings never requited is the only can where I can accept a story without a Happily Ever After.
These aren't exactly prompts, but elements for a story:
● Character pines for someone who is dead
● Period-Typical Homophobia
● Missed Opportunities
Original Work
Relationships
Mob Boss/Young Male Employee He Took Off the Street and Raised (Employee pining) (Note: I also don't mind both pining, and would have selected if the option had been available.)
Warrior Prince/Enemy Prince (both pining)

Resolution: Feelings eventually requited - because I want the story to have a HEA.
I do love older/younger dynamics as well as two characters who have experienced the world and are weary of it.
● Character B's flirting is too subtle and Character A pines instead of picking up on it - This can work for both of the relationships selected, but I think would be very sweet with the mob boss prompt,
● Character keeps picking fights with object of their pining - I definitely see this with the two princes.
● Character runs into someone who reveals past traumatic/shameful event to the one they're pining for. This one hits me in the feels (a favorite trope), and I'd adore you if you wrote this.
