Thirty Days of Fanfic - Day Two

While I’ve dabbled in The West Wing, Farscape and even Law and Order my first and only fandom is White Collar.

I don’t even consider these other fandoms areas that I’ve actually written for – to the extent that I actively write in them – since the only writing I’ve done, and would ever see myself doing for them are ficlets and drabbles. I think there are three West Wing stories, two Farscape drabbles, and the only thing I’ve written for L&O is an Old West A/U summary for a meme (Sheriff Anita cleans up the town of DonkDonk).

White Collar on the other hand, well – in the 15 months I’ve been writing in that fandom, I think I’ve produced about 200 stories of varying lengths – from 100 word drabbles to 35k word epics (plus another 100k in WIPs). Don’t know if I’ll ever stop writing in the fandom – I can’t imagine a reason why I'd stop. Call me a fandom mule, not a butterfly. I’ll see a movie (Inception, Thor, etc) and think, wow – slashy – but I’m not motivated to write for it.

Maybe the only movie I’d seriously consider writing fanfic for would be L.A. Confidential, but that comes and goes.

I'd guess I'd have to say that White Collar is my one true love.
