Day 1 - Ten random facts about yourself
Day 2 - Nine things you do every day
Day 3 - Eight things that annoy you
Day 4 - Seven fears/phobias
Day 5 - Six songs that you’re addicted to
Day 6 - Five things you can’t live without
Day 7 - Four memories you won’t forget
Day 8 - Three words you can’t go a day without
Day 9 - Two things you wish you could do
Day 10 - One person you can trust
1 - Sleep. Yes, of course I sleep, but sleep is very important for me. I used to be able to stay up until 2 AM and get up the next day at 6 AM and go to work. Then I got sick and suddenly, it was hard to make it past 9 PM, even after I regained my health. I need eight hours solid rest.
2 - Grooming. Also an obvious one, but it does bear mentioning.
3 - Read the New York Times on line. I actually spend way too many hours with the "paper" but it informs my worldview like nothing else.
4 - Read the New Yorker. I keep thinking about cancelling my subscription, but what would I read in the bathroom?
5 - Check my LJ Flist. Seriously, do I need to even mention THAT?
6 - Take care of House Wonderful. It might just be something simple like washing the dishes or sweeping the floor or cleaning the kitchen counters. HW is my joy and my refuge and caring for her is not a chore but a delight.
7 - Having breakfast. I love breakfast, it's my favorite meal of the day and for my health, it's very important.
8 - Take my medications and check my blood glucose levels. Before I got sick (just two years ago, but it feels like a lifetime ago), I was very non-compliant with the few meds I took on a regular basis. After spending a week in the hospital and nearly dying, there's really nothing more important than taking care of myself.
9 - Being creative. Whether it's writing fic or beading or even thinking about fic or my next project, I need to spend a few hours being creative every day.

Date: 2015-02-02 05:09 pm (UTC)The New Yorker is a weekly magazine. It's not the New York Times, which I haven't gotten in paper form in years. Can't read a tablet or my phone in the bathroom.
