Where is Matthew Keller when you need him?


Remember last week when I said everything with my house was settled? Well, guess what, guys - it isn't. Not going to bore you with the deets, but there's no CO which means that there's no mortgage, but my buyer is frantic and I have to move out by next Thursday.

Which means I may need to put everything into storage, which means I just doubled the cost of my move.

I am pretty much wound up like a top. I think my jaw is about to break off and all I want to do is cry.

Which isn't healthy or good or productive. Because my storytelling muscles seem to have died, I have no creative outlet, which makes things just that much worse.

Hugs aren't necessary...just needed to vent.

God, I remember rebuilding after a fire. It was one step forward and two steps back. One inspector would pass it and another would flunk it. I think they finally took pity on me so I could move. Even had to arrange a sneak attack on the builder, the inspector and the artitect to get some things settle (cause everyone heard/told something different) "Oh, I didn't mean/say that" Yeah, right!
Any possibility you could "rent" your new home till the CO comes thru, at least you could start to get settled.

(And I feel so sorry for Peter getting hit again and again and again...
