My fourth and final set of artwork for Round One of the wc_reverse_bb illustrates a story written by my dear and very talented friend, b_ronan_kellner.

This artwork was substantially changed from the original effort, and in fact, only a modified version the initial image was used as part of her story, The Mirror Lies.

That fade in effect is amazing. Looks like he had acid splashed on him, talk about WHUMP. I haven't commented but all the artwork I've seen is fantastic and the pieces add so much to the story.

You've pegged it! Neal was the victim of an acid attack. But it happened off camera, so not a lot of graphic whump.

The artwork is amazing! I can't believe how well it came out--and how perfect it is for this story. That fade is extraordinary. Just . . . wow! And Neal with the Picasso is stunning.
