I'm not really one that is good at stopping myself... but I'm a pretty good cheerleader and enabler, maybe you need to find a logical place to take a pause and then finish the story in a sequel? Good luck with it... ^_^

I don't know if I want to make you stop because I loooooooove long stories, especially yours. It's like reading a novel and with my kindle it's always a pleasure to read for hours non stop.

All I can say is welcome to my world. Seriously, it just keeps growing and growing. I am editing two BBs now and I expect the one to grow far beyond the 78k it stands at right now. Yep, that's what happens.

No advice, just keep at it.

I usually don't write stories this long - it is, in fact, the longest story I've written. I just want to be done with it and move on to the other tales in my head.

Plus I have another BB due in draft early next month.

Oh, I hate that when that happens. This is why I (try to) never write without an outline (she says while she's got two, no make that three, stories in flight that are being written by the seat of the proverbial pants). It gets so that Muse will just start throwing everything but the kitchen sink in.

Still, I know your story will be the richer because you followed the muse and didn't just hack it off at the knees. I'd say good luck, but I know you can do it!

I rarely ever work from an outline - which is why so many of my stories seem to go epic. I'm such a pantser!

Sometimes I do write a little bit of an outline - usual that will come out of running a story idea with a chat partner.

This one? I just lost control of it at some point and let the characters take over. Like having the lions in charge of the zoo!
