Community Rewatch - Tonight - PRISONER'S DILEMMA - 9:30 PM EDT/6:30 PM PDT

Signal boosting tonight’s scheduled community rewatch of Prisoner’s Dilemma, wherein we meet Kyle (?!?!?!?) Bancroft (who needs to come back) and a bunch of corrupt U.S. Marshals. Drinking games include the famous CI-off, counting the guns when Peter’s in that green t-shirt, Jack Franklin (who also needs to come back), Neal’s awesome hair (always), the burnt pot-roast, every mention of White-Bored, and of course, Zen-Master Mozzie.



You log into the IRC chat room here: Kiwi IRC link or here: Freenode IRC link, type your nickname and hit Enter. If you have experience with IRC and have a standalone client (like mIRC for PCs or Colloquy for the Mac), you would use the server irc.kiwiirc.com and #wcwu for the room.

If you find that you keep getting kicked off, it's probably because there is someone who has registered the same nickname and is using it. Just retry with a different name.

The rest of the instructions are the same: At the right time, you launch your own copy of the episode (either from Netflix or your DVDs or your computer) and chat along with the gang as the episode plays.

The scheduled start time tonight is 9:30 PM EDT/6:30 PM PDT/2:30 AM GMT (that's Wednesday morning for those on the other side of the Pond). Come early and hang out with us or stay late and chat and maybe word war.

I'm stuck in a chain hotel on I-70 with lousy wifi so I won't be joining you. But I did want to be the first to point out that Max Martini, who plays evil Marshal Deckard, is one of the leads in Pacific Rim. Have a good time tonight.

This is the end of an advance trip. I've been house hunting (Northern NJ and NY along the Hudson River line) - but had no luck so far. I'm on my way back to STL to tie up some loose ends. Moving date is 1st week of September - to my Mother's since I haven't found a house A and I can agree on.
