1. I hope everyone has seen the set pics that Matt Negrete has taken, and Jeff Eastin's posted on Twitter. If you haven't, I'm happy to share them with you. Under a cut for two reasons. First, they are slightly spoilery. Two, they are highly, highly distracting.








 

2. I haven't so much fallen off the face of the earth as much as fallen deep into a new story. It's my entry for rabidchild67’s KidFic Fest on the White Collar Hurt/Comfort comm. I had gone into this assignment expecting to write some deaged angst, but abandoned the idea fairly quickly. Then I thought I'd write something silly, like White Collar meets Our Gang. What I ended up with is something completely different and utterly unexpected. It's pushing 14k right now and I'm sort of proud to say that it may be one of the best things I've ever written. It will be done soon, it has to be - I've got to post it on the 30th of this month.

3. And when I haven't been writing, I've been working on a new beading project, which I finished on Sunday night. This one, unlike the Rainbow bracelet, is actually wearable.



 

4. The Fan Fic Fest on White Collar Fixation is still going on, and I still need your recs for kink stories and pairings/romance stories. You can find my post on that subject here

What else, what else? I'd comment on the weather, but that's obvious. So, I'll leave it at that. Let me know what's going on in your life.

By the way, when I couldn't sleep in the middle of the night last night, I pictured that last shot of scruffy!Neal with Peter. Specifically, it became a Tim/Matt in my head, where they do a take with Peter ravaging Neal with a kiss and Tim takes it too far and Matt lets him until Tim's head is in Matt's crotch, his mouth on Matt's clothed dick and someone finally yells cut.

Ahem.

But OH MY GOD...

All 3 pictures are just freakingly amazing! And that last one with Peter in the picture. I don't think he looks sad so much as pensive. Like "How is Peter going to save my shit this time!"

Your beadwork is amazing. But either you have a tiny wrist or that is bigger than it looks. :-)

I have a story idea that has been haunting me for a while now, and I have no time to sit and write. And when I *do* have writing time, I'm so freaking tired that all I want to do is sit and knit or sit and veg. But the gorgeous weather is invigorating.

I love that this is a _different_ Neal that were seeing in these pics. I can't wait until next season!! (I haven't watched Judgement Day yet, I don't.... it seems like SUCH a betrayal - Free Fall squicked me in the same way, but I could watch it because I knew there was going to be an episode the next week and so it had to have a resolution. I'll watch the season finale with the season premiere (and I don't mind spoilers, because really - I'm still watching and rewatching the premier)

Ahh, I envy your ability to have stories just end up being so long! My dark_fest fic ended up at 7,500, and I was so pleased with myself for writing something that long, lol.

Of course now I have post-story lack of inspiration. So, I signed up for something else. Obviously, signing up for a ton of things is the way to go.

Speaking of, are you guys doing wcpairings again this year? I had so much fun with it last year, and the stories I wrote are still a couple of my favorites.

Yes, yes! We are definitely doing the wcpairing swap again. A little differently this year, but it's most certainly ON! We're going to post the call for signups and prompts next week.

I've been super busy. My folks are retiring their business on March 27th and that has brought out all kinds of feelings (both excitement, sadness, and a little fear). But, that's a good thing for them. And, of course, spring cleaning looms large as something I must do soon!

But, for me, sometimes wouldn't it be nice to sit in front of the ocean with a good book?
