On a train, heading into NYC. Three hours in transit for a half hour courtesy meeting. Grrrrrr


People are so fucking rude. To the forty something man sitting next to me, mute that goddamn Angry Birds, or I'm gonna take your iPhone away from you. And you, sitting three rows in front of me, STFU about how long the ride is. Yes, it takes an Hour twenty to get to the Big Shiny Apple. You're a grown man, now prove it. And I really don't care that you are posting pictures from each stop to your Wall.

Anyway, life is okay. Forty nine days until the White Collar premier. Can't wait.

My dearest friend, hoosierbitch has finished and claimed the epically wonderful "My Lips Have The Sin" from the kink meme. It's posted in four parts on her journal. Please go read it, start to finish, now!!!! She has also started writing Grimm fic on that kink meme. I am slowly being dragged into that fandom, not completely against my will.

For those of you who are interested, I think I have solved my problem with Vampire World and will be able to finish it. Soonish.

Need to get back to my Polyamory Big Bang story. And my plans to write for Fandom Stockng, The Eight Days of Ficmukah and Vampire World shall innovate way impede me.

Does anyone else have trouble sleeping after changing the color of their sheets? I have had dark ones on since October, but put the really nice cream colored ones on last night. And couldnt fall back to sleep after the 3am bathroom visit. Everything seemed TOO BRIGHT.

Yay! Did survive, made it to my meeting way too early. It was pleasant. On my way home. Could have stayed for the RockefellerCenter Xmas Teee lighting ( was right around the corner, literally) but I don't do stuff like that

RC is writing Grimm fic too. Yay for new shinny fandoms! I have to go into the city on Friday and I am not sure how I feel about it. Luckily, my friend who I am meeting there said she would meet me in Penn Station and travel the subways with me.

I always play angry birds on mute. Although sometimes my nephew changes the settings on my iPod and I have to bear listening to the incessant squawking until change the settings back.

Dude, that guy should be grateful he's taking public transporation and can do stuff on his phone while he's traveling. If he had to drive an hour twenty to get somewhere, it'd feel like even MORE of a time suck. /lives in the country rant.

It is ridiculous that someone would play Angry Birds with the volume on for other ppl to hear. That's just plain dumb and rude. I've had a bad headache for over a week (yes, I called the dr today) and yesterday there was someone with their music SO loud in their ears. I turned my own music on (even though I had a headache) just to try to drown out his. But I couldn't turn mine up loud enough, b/c of my headache, so then I could hear mine AND his, and then I just wanted to kill someone. Oy.

Aaaanyway, sorry you had a lame train experience. Is Eight Days of Ficmukah an "official" thing, or just something you are doing? :)

Sorry your train journey was crappy - it's amazing how some people act in public. When I went to visit my big bro last week the train was packed with rival (very drunk) football supporters, and subsequently police. Fun.

But, sheets: YES! The trick is to have a darker bedsheet on the mattress and first two pillows, then lighter for the duvet/top pillows, or vice versa depending on your preferences. It's a science.

Sheets are meant to be dark, as are the duvet covers - the bed is your snug little cave, shutting out all the nastiness of the world.
Bright or light linens are for hospitals. ;)

And I really want to see a fic about the OC guy Neal trained with in that AU story where Hughes sent him to Quantico under another name! You SAID you'd write something, you DID! ;)
