I am a geek. I am a nerd. I am a proud White Collar Geek-Nerd. And I've finally discovered the font that was used to create the White Collar logo.
(Drum Roll please...)
It's Akzidenz-Grotesk Standard Extended Bold.
Every few months, I have tried to match the logo using on-line font-finding tools, without any luck. It's all in the beveled ends of the "C" and the extended opening on the top of the "R".
I just happened to be looking at the userpic I made from the tag to the delicious cookies that were distributed after the Paley Event in 2010 and decided to try again. To my shock and delight, it worked.
The only problem...the font costs $275.
