Friends, I am sorry that it's taken so long to finish this write up.  Friday was DAY FROM HELL at work, and I barely had 5 minutes to call my own, let alone a block of time long enough to organize the rest of my thoughts.  This weekend was taken up with finishing the Leather!Kink piece that I submitted to FicFinishing (it's done and in beta, whew!) and a little downtime from the writing.  I did buy a white linen trilby at a craft show...and I admit to doing it because it was tres Neal...and I look pretty good in hats.

My friends...this past week was a bit out of control (yes - the visit with Tatt DeBomer got my vampire head all screwed up), and try as I might, I couldn't quite finish the planned chapter.  But rest assured, Peter is recovering nicely from his, ahem, ordeal.  And Neal's settling in nicely, satisfied that he can, if necessary, claim an upper hand with Captain Burke.  He's been spending some time trying to figure out the odd sensations he's been feeling.  Oh, not just those - Neal's well aware of the attraction, and he's not yet prepared to act on it. YET.
