My friend,
jrosemary is much more that the guiding genius behind White Collar Fixation.
She is a very talented author of original fiction. One of her current projects is a complex fantasy world called Halcrest, a universe that's parallel to Georgian England. No beakers of mead or tankards of ale here - the characters are politically, artistically and culturally of a midset common to the mid-to-late 1700s. Except that slavery is a part of daily life and same sex relationships are common and accepted (at least among one of the cultures that inhabit this world)
She has a major novel in the works (and I've accepted her invitation to co-author) - which will form the keystone for this world, but she's also working on several short stories. The first of these, Through Saark Eyes is now available as a free download at Halcrest.net.
I was privileged to beta this story and create the cover art for it.

I encourage everyone to read this story, while it's short, it packs a terrific punch. The story is equivalent to PG-13.
