I was raised by parents who were teens in the 70's and I was born in the early 80's. My dad - the music addict - loved the Beatles and hated Simon and Garfunkel. I got curious and rented Simon and Garfunkel cd's from the libary when I could haha.

I then became a radio DJ at a local radio station and played The Beatles and Simon and Garfunkel at least every two weeks in the show with my dad saying "they can't co-exsist!" LOL.

I have discovered this meme really isn't for classical music fans. Of my usable ones, "Damned for All Time/Blood Money" from Jesus Christ Superstar is the song to be played at my wedding, which is both kind of cool and A REALLY HORRIBLE IDEA, OMG. That would be some wedding.

Jesus Christ Superstar was my first musical. I love that movie, and it was pretty much what introduced me to musicals, and when the tour came to town with Carl Anderson, I went and saw it. It was my first live, professional show. It was amazing. And it's crazy how much theatre has affected my life since. :)
