Last night, I celebrated Passover with MVDF V, her husband and some old friends of hers that I like.  As the saying goes, a good time was had by all.  Since we all hate the traditional, male-centric Haggadahs that she had - we told our own version of the Passover fable.  At the end of the meal, we didn't sing songs.  We told dirty jokes.

M had a slew of fairly mediocre ones, I did my turn with the dumb blond ones, but V had the best one of all...

A car accident left Sally in a coma, apparently brain dead.  The doctors didn't hold out much hope for her ever reviving, but one day, a nurse noticed that when she bathed her patient, something strange happened.  The brain monitors showed a definite spike in neural activity when the nurse washed Sally's genitals.  This was not a one-time phenomena - it happened every time Sally's genitals were washed or touched.

The doctors got excited - maybe Sally could be brought out of her coma!  They told her husband, John, about this development, and said that there was a possibility that his wife could be revived if he had oral sex with her.  After much consideration, John agreed to that this was something he should do, provided that no one watched.

The hospital set up a privacy screen around Sally's bed, and the doctors and nurses waited for the results of this most unusual treatment.  All of a sudden, the monitors started to go crazy, and then they flatlined.  It seemed that this medical experiment when terribly, horribly wrong.  When John came out from behind the privacy screen, the doctors asked him what happened.  He replied, "I guess she choked."

LOL!

Glad you got to go to a Seder--non-traditional ones are great!

I made one for first night; we had about 13 people. We use Haggadot that are egalitarian, and we had a good, fun group--but we didn't tell dirty jokes. I'll have to add that next year.

For second night, I helped organize the community Seder at my shul, which is also egalitarian (and gay friendly, or I wouldn't be there.) Again, sooo much fun--but still no dirty jokes! :(
