Thirty Day Photo Meme - Day 5
May. 16th, 2014 09:00 amDay 5 - A Photo That Makes You Smile

Atrium, McGraw-Hill Building (The “Y” in the XYZ Buildings)
Avenue of the Americas, New York, New York
November, 2011
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
On my way to a business meeting, and it was quite a delightful shock to realize that this was the exterior location for the “FBI Offices” in White Collar – as well as the actual filming spot where Diana kissed Christie in Deadline
ETA - I should have thought to add this picture originally:
( Diana, Neal and Christie, in Deadline )

Thirty Day Photo Meme - Day 3
May. 14th, 2014 08:47 amDay 3 - A Photo Of An Animal

Horse - Somewhere between St. George, Utah and Zion National Park, Utah
May, 2009
:::::::::::::::::::::::::
That was quite a trip. I'd made a wrong turn trying to go to Phoenix and ended up on a fifty-mile detour before I realized that I was heading to my destination via Las Vegas (which is the most common route, and the least scenic one). So I doubled back through St. George and decided to take a "short cut" through Zion National Park. It didn't work out quite as planned. I drove almost six hundred miles that day...which doesn't look quite so far on a map.

Thirty Day Photo Meme - Day 2
May. 13th, 2014 08:41 amDay Two - An Photo with Flowers In It

Dahlia Society Garden, Volunteer Park, Seattle, Washington
October, 2010

There's something about dahlias that scream "TAKE A PICTURE OF ME!!!". So showy and pushy, like the Kardashians of the floral world. But better-looking and more intelligent.

Thirty Day Photo Meme - Day 1
May. 12th, 2014 08:41 amI generally don't do thirty-day memes. Either I worry that people are just not that interested, or I can't answer all of the questions, or they are simply too much work - like the song meme that went around last month. I wanted to do it, then I realized that since my tastes are pretty obscure, I'd have to re-word about half the questions. And then going to YouTube and getting all the vids. Then I decided I'd do Thirty Days of Jethro Tull, and realized that then I'd have to do Thirty Days of Oysterband and Thirty Days of Obscure Baroque Composers and Thirty Days of Renaissance Polyphony and so on and so on. So I ditched the that meme pretty quickly.
But my friend
aragarna is doing this awesome Thirty Days of Photos - but they have to be pictures that you took yourself, and I liked the list of photos. Since I needed to get a lot of writing done this weekend and therefore was compelled to do anything but write, I took about two hours to go through my photo archives and pulled all of the images on the list.
So, without further ado... Day One - A Picture With Water In It
