elrhiarhodanLiveJournal is blocking and deleting accounts that have posts that link to outside websites. It's supposedly because of a new spambot catcher, but it's affecting a lot of non-spam accounts. Affecting as in DELETING YOUR JOURNAL WITHOUT WARNING OR NOTICE.
You can read about it in detail here, but all I can say is that if you've been on the border about leaving LJ for DW, this really should push you over the fence.
I only picked this up because I occasionally go to my Friends page on LJ - maybe once a week - and I saw this on the HC Bingo comm.
