So sometime yesterday I became unable to access any of your lj posts - I would just get an error message that something was wrong with the page/address (while any other lj pages I visited were fine). Anyway, it's all working now, so I can comment on this amazing fic! You covered so much ground in such a short space, and I'm both impressed and jealous. :-) I love the way you captured the feeling and dynamic of being the new guy, and I love seeing Blake's impressions of the team. And then there's the whole issue of Neal and the anklet. You're right that we don't generally see him get angry about it, and I think on one level he knows the trade-off he's made and is pretty accepting about it. On the other hand, I have to think that there are times when he must resent the thing, and also times when it's frustrating and/or embarrassing. We pretty much only see him interacting with people at work and people outside work who know the whole story, but what about other times? I'm actually really curious about how it might affect his interactions outside of that circle. I mean his looks and charm might get him through many situations, but probably not any/all of them. Then again maybe I'm just looking for an excuse to have Neal jogging shirtless in Central Park. [Oops, sorry, distracted for a moment there.]
