I love Idris Elba and Ralph Fiennes, but Peter O'Toole? He is one of my great lifetime crushes. One of the highlights of my time in London was going to see "Jeffrey Barnard is Unwell" with Peter O'Toole in the title role. It's a slight play about a drunken journalist about which I remember virtually nothing except the joy of watching O'Toole on stage. It was 1999 and one of his last public performances. His voice was raspy, his grasp of the lines some what erratic and yet his ability to reach the audience and hold them spell bound was unabated. I think my husband mortgaged the house for the tickets and it was worth every penny.
