I grew up with a pink bedroom, pink kitchen (it was my mother's favorite color) and lots of pretty pink clothes. For decades, I loathed pink, but then... slowly, slowly I realized that I look good in pink and started incorporating it, bit by bit, into my wardrobe. Mostly as accessories (since pink goes very will with basic black).

No pink in my decorating, though. Peach, yes, pink, no.
