Yeah, I think Rebecca/Rachel knew about the Hope Diamond's twin but she didn't know where it was or how to find it. The clues were in the Codex so they needed Neal to steal it. That's the only thing that makes any sense. I'd like to know how she and Hagen hooked up to begin with because that doesn't make any sense to me.
Matt's acting in this was amazing and I loved the writing. Wow, that dialog and the way the two con people were coning each other , I didn't know whether to laugh or cry and was doing both. Neal's heart was just breaking with every word. That love declaration was real, just to the woman that didn't exist.
Okay, as to the Washington, DC thing, it's all going to blow up in their faces. Remember, Greek tragedy, every single time Neal's dream is in his grasp, poof, or BANG. Well, it's Peter's turn. Something's going to happen.
I'm going to say it, I think Rachel is going to either shoot Peter or Neal, seriously.
