*sniffs* This is beautiful. I was so shocked by how Ellen reacted to Neal's news, but the tape and her regrets really tore at me. There are really not enough words for how rich and complex and amazing this story in particular is, not to mention the whole 'verse. I feel inordinately blessed that you have shared the lives of Neal and Peter with us, and I cannot thank you enough for writing this for me. I had no idea when I chose that prompt that it would turn into something this good and touching.
