Not gonna ask the source of your "reasons" but the fact that you have them makes me happy.
I hadn't before focused on the fact that Neal's actions previously was for his own gain aka Nazi treasure, and this time he gains absolutely nothing....and hopefully that will make all the difference when Peter learns the truth.
I so want to believe that Peter already knows or suspects the Hagan angle but don't see any proof of that yet, nor do I understand why he couldn't tell Neal. Whatever it is keeping them apart I sure hope that it winds down and we "get the band back together again" soon.
