Right now Neal is hurt and he hates to be manipulated by Hagen. And there is no comfort from Peter, of course, just suspicion and resentment. Neal has made the deal with the devil but now he asks for what? For his friend who let him down.
Great, moving story, it hurts and we can only hope that they will get over their burdens soon.
