Going To War!!!! A Word War, That Is

Join me and theatregirl7299 at the wcwu chat room tonight at 7:45 PM EDT and get set for a smackdown battle of words. At promptly 8 PM sharp, the clock starts ticking and everyone will have exactly 30 minutes to write as many words as possible.

She who writes the most words will suffer eternal glory and be given a crown, not unlike this one (cost to be charged to winner's credit card of choice).

Writers rejoice and come join us for a half hour of frenzied creation.

And the winner is...?

I had aikido until 8:30, after which I had to go to the supermarket, so it was after 9 when I got home and saw this post. So...how did it go? After some initial reluctance to try it (b/c I am such a slow writer), I found Word Wars to be really useful. I was warring with much faster writers, but I made some really good progress on the story I was working on.
