I normally prefer to wait until I'm done...I've written a few long pieces. The problem I was having with this is that I wrote a lot of it, and then got overwhelmed by it. The only way I was going to keep going was by actually posting it. Once I started, I knew I'd have to finish it.
The story is plotted and there is a definite dramatic conclusion. It may take some time (probably about 20 chapters), but I promise you that you will get all of it. There is nothing I despise more than someone who writes a long fic and then abandons it. Makes me wanna kill the author.
