Oh my gosh the last little paragraph just killed me. Especially since my screen was displaying it at the very bottom of the page, and I expected more, and then... Oh hell.

I never commented on this, but Neal definitely seems a lot more fucked up by his incarceration here than in canon. Which DOES make perfect sense in this world, just... I go "awwww, Neal. ;o;" a good bit and I just love seeing things make him happy again, however wary he might be.
And then the bit about oh, he'd have sex with Peter if it would make Peter happy and just... Damn, lying to himself so much. That whole chunk with Neal's thoughts on the matter made me very, very happy.
