Excellent H/C fic. I absolutely loved your hard as nails Hughes and Mozzie. My feelings are that there's no where near enough Hughes in fics, he's the Big Dog in the office and we don't get to see him in that role enough IMHO so thank you for this. Also, Mozzie, he was wonderful in this from dealing with Dobbs to getting medical supplies to dealing with the DoJ. He was simply awesome and on top of that I got to see Hughes and Mozzie as a kind of 'team' (I would love you forever if you could ever give me a Hughes and Mozzie story, those two could rule the world in the right circumstances; actually throw in Bancroft and June and they could probably rule the galaxy, lol. Actually now I'm thinking I would love to see a 'the older folks - Hughes, Bancroft, June and Mozzie show the "youngsters' how it's done. LOL)
I also adored your OC's. I have a real weakness for well done OC's. Peter's coolness factor jumped several notches because the man has the ability to call in such an international favor. Awesome.That's just so cool - Israeli mercenaries, jets, medical teams; I have goosebumps.
Neal is one tough guy and I've always liked that his character is ALWAYS thinking, no matter what, even when in physical pain, he keeps his wits about him. He may fall apart later but he's no fragile flower, no matter how much he might joke about being a lover not a fighter. He's a chess player all right.
