I agree about the case - it was simply a vehicle for the boys to be awesome. TBH - aren't most WC capers about Neal and Peter and the Harvard Crew (by extension) the same thing?
Maybe the only "real" caper was the kidnapping in S1 (Front Man), but again, it was still a chance to show of the boys' awesomeness.
