I. Alex had had a bad feeling about Keller ever since she'd joined the white collar unit three months ago, and she hadn't trusted how closely he'd been working with their corporate liaison, Vincent Adler, but she had kept her mouth shut because she was the rookie agent, and accusations had to be backed up with evidence, not just a gut feeling.
II. Her intuition seemed to be corroborated when she caught Keller in Neal's office, pawing through some files; he'd smiled his oily smile at her and showed her a folder on supposed mortgage frauds, but she'd seen the flash of writing on it, and she knew it had to do with Adler -- she went to go talk to Caffrey, and at least drop a hint to let him know something might be up, but she couldn't find him anywhere...and then she couldn't find Keller, and her heart sank like a stone.
