Conversations With My Father

I've talked about my father before, most notably on his passing back in 2010. He was a very good man, a first generation American who embodied everything that defined "The Greatest Generation". He was a life-long Democrat, he voted - without hesitation - for Barack Obama, and I have to imagine that he would be utterly appalled at the state of this country's government.

But he was not perfect and he had his blind spots. One of the biggest ones was regarding the police.

The past week, my father and I have been having quite a few conversations. They haven't been easy ones.
