Day 28 – Movie with the best soundtrack
The Hours
There are many wonderful soundtracks in my music library – Howard Shore's magnificent Lord of the Rings trilogy (the original and the extended versions), Hans Zimmer's heartpounding soundtrack to The Rock, Ennio Morricone's ethereal music for The Mission, to name just a few, but Philip Glass' soundtrack for The Hours holds the record for the most listened to piece of music in my audio library – well over 700 plays. I find it the perfect music to write to – some of my most angsty fic were created while this was playing in the background.
