Day 15 – The first movie you saw in a theater
Cabaret
I was six when this came out and I have a very strong memory of going to see it with my parents and my sister at the local drive-in. I remember not understanding any of it, but loving the song "Money Money" ("Money Makes the World Go 'Round") and probably being a very tired, very whiney little girl. I vaguely remember my mom telling me that it was going to be a very long time before she took me to the movies again.
Years (maybe decades) later, Cabaret was on television (or cable) and my mom and I watched it and she told me that this was the first movie she ever took me to, and what a mistake THAT was!
