This is one of the most desolate places I’ve ever been to. A long straight road between two nowhere points. I got bored and did a little off-roading (and completely violating the terms of my rental contract).

Joshua trees are strange plants – not quite palms (though they might be, genetically), not quite cacti. Frankly, they give me the creeps.

They tracked me to the ladies' room. Where I was in the middle of something, and then they (female) proceeded to tell me how URGENT their requirement was.
