Signal Boost - White Collar Community - Peter & Elizabeth

Way back when (or maybe once upon a time), an LJ friend of mine, whitecollarfan created a community for fanworks centering on Peter and Elizabeth Burke - peter_elizabeth. After a while, she left LiveJournal and the community was taken over by another, very dear friend, afiawri.

About a year and a half ago (or maybe even longer than that), Afiawri needed to step away from her on-line fandom life and I volunteered to take over the modding duties for peter_elizabeth. As with any community, modding duties are just what you want them to be. For archive-type communities, the best mods keep a light hand - like watchmaker gods - and are only visible when needed.

I have to admit (and hang my head in shame), that I became the maintainer for peter_elizabeth and then promptly forgot about it. Real life had overwhelmed me - selling one house, moving into another, getting settled, getting sick, yadda, yadda, yadda... The time passed and I did nothing to promote or organize this community.

But that has changed. A few days ago, I received a notification that there was a story in the comm's moderation queue that needed approval (thank you veleda_k). That was enough impetus to remind me of my obligations.

peter_elizabeth has been refreshed, with a new banner, a new layout, author tags, and fully open moderation.

I've also changed the posting rules. Stories posted to the community need to be focused on the awesome marital relationship between Elizabeth and Peter Burke, but fanworks with OT3 elements or a polyamorous relationship will now be permitted, but those elements should not overshadow the relationship between husband and wife (if you want a rough estimate of how the balance should be - 75% of the story should be about Peter and Elizabeth).

So, this is now the time to repost your Peter and Elizabeth-focused fanworks. New authors will promptly receive tags and I will create more specific genre tags over the next few days. And of course, please join the community!

My question to you is this: is anyone interested in making peter_elizabeth more than an archive comm? Would you be interested in fests and exchanges and challenges? Let me know in the comments.
