Note: This is a timestamp to my epic Love Is As Rich As the Sea, wherein Neal is an ancient selkie recently reunited with his sentient skin, Peter has an erratic psychometric gift, and Elizabeth was badly injured by Keller during her kidnapping (he broke her wrist, no sexual abuse). At the end of the original story, Elizabeth tells Peter she wants to go to Neal’s - because nothing bad ever happened to her there. She gets into Neal’s bed, with his skin draped around her naked body.

( The pain medication left her feeling floaty, detached. Not quite connected to her physical self. That was okay, since her body wasn’t a happy place right now.  )
