White Collar Fixation

I am a very, very lucky person - at least when it comes to the friends I've made this past year, here on LJ. Friends who've inspired me, given me strength when things have been rough, supported me when I've been down, cheered me on when I decided to write (and they continue to enable me, in all the best possible ways).

One of the most amazing people I've connected with is jrosemary. Not only is she an amazingly talented author, but she's super-smart, funny, insightful and one of the best people I know. She is also the creator and the powerhouse behind White Collar Fixation, the premier blog about all things White Collar. It's a place for happy squeefulness and deeply thinky thoughts, and discussions of some very serious issues.

It's also a place that's proudly respectful of all viewpoints, which is a hallmark of jrosemary herself. While the frontpage content is always family friendly, the blog is not shy about recommending all types of fan fiction, from Gen and Het to Slash and OT3. The range of recommendations on the site is breathtaking (and one of the real hidden gems of the WC fan community).

I am very, very proud to announce that I've been given both Moderator and Contributor status on White Collar Fixation, and I'll be cross-posting some of the content on my LJ to WCF and vice-versa.

Post Ep Dish - White Collar 2.15 - Power Play

And so, my friends, it’s time for another Post-Ep Dish here on my journal.

I am devastated that there are just two eps left.  *sob*

But this one promises to be a good one, if just on the premise that Neal and Peter are switched roles. 

Power Play has one of my favorite character actors as the bad guy - Richard Schiff, best know for his role as Toby Zeigler on The West Wing.  I can’t imagine him as twisted and evil...but he’s a good actor and I’m sure he’ll make it work in a sly and understated way.

The preview scenes  were really quite funny - except for the extended car commercial.  Sigh…

But at least that’s in the beginning (in case you haven’t figured it out, almost all the preview scenes are from before the first commercial break.  It’s only taken me two years to realize that!) 

Just a word about what I am watching before WC starts - Cupcake Wars on The Food Network.  Will someone please tell me why this show even exists?  Pretend bakers tart themselves up in tutus and too much makeup and put together truly revolting baked goods.  And there is this annoying weasel of a host.  Why, oh why Food Network - you cancel Ace of Cakes and leave this crap on?
