I thoroughly dislike breaking promises, and I had promised to post new chapters Monday and Thursday nights. But I am faced with a dilemma...If I keep to that schedule, it is likely that I will run out of beta'd chapters and there will be longer and longer gaps between postings. I have a chapter in queue, another two chapters in beta and another two chapters written and almost ready for beta. My excellent beta reader is not a machine, and she has a life outside of helping me with Vampire World, so I cannot and will not rush her. That being said, as much as I hate to change the posting schedule, I am going to have to cut down to one chapter a week...this way, I know I'll never have to take a break and you'll get the story you want without interruption.
BUT - SINCE I DID SAY THAT A NEW CHAPTER WOULD GO UP TONIGHT, I am going to give you something a little special. It's part of the original outline I wrote back in - wow - March. It is some heavy Vampire sexxoring, and not a plot spoiler. I posted it back in early April as a test balloon, and I think it's worth a re-read. It's under the cut, so if you don't want to get your Captain on, you don't have to.
