Well, I didn't like it enough to keep the rest of the S.1 DVDs in my NetFlix queue. Of the main characters, well, I can respect Mandy Patinkin as an actor with lots of talent, but have never found him particularly *attractive* (in the sense that I'd want to write/read fanfic about him) in ANY role he's played, much less here. The other boss agent (Hotchner?) doesn't seem, IMO, to have the acting talent to really make his character's interesting and angsty story-line BELIEVABLE on a gut level (good-looking but isn't evoking the sympathy he should: again, doesn't leave me wanting to read/write fic about him).
Reid's a fascinating geek-boy but I haven't seen the eps where he really gets much story-time (IIRC, he gets captured and tortured by a Bad Guy at some point, then has a drug addiction?). Can't even remember the names of the others, or how many there are (a couple interchangeable pretty gals and a token Black Agent?), except for the blonde 'puter-geek-girl who comes across as a pale wanna-be version of Abby from "NCIS".
