Playing Hooky at a White Collar Location Shoot

I didn't quite call in sick today. Just said i had an appointment.

So, I'm at the corner of 46th St. and 1st Ave. New Yorkers know where that is, but I'm not going to say more, since that could be a spoiler. They haven't started filming yet, so my only highlight is seeing the cart with the actors' chairs.

The young production assistant I asked about the location shoot was astonished that I travelled in just to see the filming She is obviously not a fan.

Yick. There's always one or two in the bunch, isn't there? Well, I'm glad she was the exception and not the rule in the crew because no one deserves to be subjected to that type of attitude for the length of time you were there.

Also, the ETA updates; I'm a little jealous but more happy that you got to experience that all and meet the actors, plus the autographs. =D True fan dream day. If you post the pictures, I can't wait to see them.

The write up and pictures will probably happen tomorrow. Right now, I've got a heat headache and need some tlc.

One venti Black Ice Tea with Lemonade has been administered. Another will be required.

I would offer rum truffles to go along with that lemonade because I believe the two would taste great together. I need to make another batch; I'm down to only half a dozen in the tin.

Yum...those sound DELISH.

But not as delish as getting hugged TWICE by Matt and Tim.

(I am going to be using that as a club through fandom for months, you know that!)

When I get more ingredients I'll have to make you up a half batch sampler. They are so nummy. Well, at least I think so.

GUH. Did I mention how envious I was? Yes? Let me say it again: I'm so envious. xD Especially over the hug with Tim. Gosh do I love that man.

(Fandom should be properly warned, except I'd rather sit back and watch the swinging in action.)

I've swung a version of that club for a few months already - Tim hugged me during his fan service at the Paley Event.

He's a very, very special man. The type of guy you'd want to bring home to mom, and then you'd have to worry that mom would try to steal him.

There's such joy in both of them...they love what they do and they love their fans.

Did I mention they smelled delicious?

I've been in love with him since Carnivale and got stupidly giddy every time he showed up in other shows, like NCIS. That was special. Mark Harmon and Tim DeKay on the same show? I was a happy fan that day.

You might have mentioned that a time or two. I'm still green over it. *grins*
