Not to say there were times he didn't annoy the pants off me, or that he didn't have his own foibles, but he was the living definition of what it meant to be a husband and a father.
I was truly blessed to be raised by this man.

That didn't preclude him from watching every war movie ever made. I used to tease him and "spoil" the ending, telling him "we won, you know."
He'd reply, "Yeah, I know. I was there."

He sounds perfectly lovely and his smile .... talk about the love in his eyes! There is no doubt that he is looking at his little girl.
You are one lucky lady to have had such a man in your life!
