Thirty Day Photo Meme - Day 27

Day 27 - A Photo (Or Photos) That Tells A Story

Grosvenor Square, London, England
March, 2002

Well, it’s not every day that you find rats with wings publically copulating at your feet, is it?

And while [livejournal.com profile] sinfulslasher may not prompt me for Pigeon!Peter and Pigeon!Neal, I might just add this to my list of stories to write...

Of course, you would be the one to find pigeons having sex in public. Why am I not surprised?

I would like to point out that A) you already wrote pigeon!AU (sorta) and B) I've been rooting for squirrels all along. ;P

(Any and all stories written by you are happily hugged and devoured though. Even if it's a pigeon AU. *g*)

Of course you were completely innocent. And, because you're not voyeuristic at all, you totally also didn't look. And watched. And took pictures. Oh wait.

Don't let me stop you from writing your silly pigeon!AU. But I still expect squirrel smexitiems! SO THERE.

OMG I NOW NEED A FIC BASED ON THIS!!!

Make it happen. Now!

(Neal is the bizarre artist doing this, and Peter is a collector who is being told about the wet ones. Then he gets wet to see if this only counts for pigeons or also for humans. Because Neal. I mean, come on.)

Doin' it in Trafalgar Square. Those exhibitionist British wizard pigeons. You can't take them anywhere.

;-)

I once saw two moths having sex on the frame of my kitchen door. I killed them. Later I regretted that I did not take a picure first. I mean, seriously?

LOL it seems, in America everything is a bit bigger, even the moths ;)

In Germany, they look like this and are as big as my thumb nail I'd say:

There was that one time at the family day open house at the Honolulu zoo when the land tortoises were getting together. One could hear the male roar/grunt with each thrust across the zoo. Interesting the exhibit was most popular with the adults, the kids could care less. No camera that day.

So of course you had to take a photo!

There are so very many pigeons in London, it's rather surprising that I never saw any copulating.

And now I'm remembering a sign I saw in the King's Cross train station: "If you must feed the birds, buy a budgie." It still makes me chuckle.

they removed literally TONS (or is that TONNES) of dead pigeons from the actual base of the statue at the top of the pillar
