I would like to point out that A) you already wrote pigeon!AU (sorta) and B) I've been rooting for squirrels all along. ;P

There are so very many pigeons in London, it's rather surprising that I never saw any copulating.
And now I'm remembering a sign I saw in the King's Cross train station: "If you must feed the birds, buy a budgie." It still makes me chuckle.

I remember reading one awful statistic about when Nelson's Column was cleaned in the early 1990's - that they removed literally TONS (or is that TONNES) of dead pigeons from the actual base of the statue at the top of the pillar.
