This season has been my favourite of the show, and this was one of the best episodes. SO MUCH silent hovering concern from Peter (I love how much he can put into his facial expressions) and emotional hurt for Neal. And I loved Mozzie and Peter both being incredibly worried about him. Justifiably -- especially putting himself in danger with Rachel like that. And that conversation with her when he tells her that he understands that her ever-changing disguises and aliases are "because you hate who you really are". I love how much this season has been getting under his skin, with him trying to figure out whether he's inherently a bad person or not (having tried last season to pin all his hopes on that onto his father, and then having them brutally destroyed, and also having had Dr Summers tell him he's definitely bad, no redemption ever).

Literally the only complaint I have with this ep is that Neal wasn't a tiny bit more shot. But fanfic exists to add the h/c ;D
